Lightning's POV
"Oops." I stood up. "Man, I hope no one got a gun. I say that because someone probably has." I walked in and sat on his bed. I muttered something. My 2 swords, fire and misery or Brisingr and Zar'roc appeared on his lap. Then his dorm mate, Lionblaze walked into the room. "Lightning! You're alive! Wait... Where did you get the swords?" I stared at Lionblaze. "Well, long story. I hope Hollyleaf is okay." Lionblaze stared at me. "She's dead." I sighed. "I know that. The afterlife is a harsh place if you don't get death's blessing. I'm able to come back because I am his heir. Hollyleaf, however, is not in a good position. I plan to change that."
Hollyleaf's POV
Being dead sucked. Everyone scorned me and threw stuff at me. I did not see any of my friends who died. When someone came, everyone stopped and knelt. He walked up to me. I was scared in what he will do to me. He took a step, then another, then another. He put a hand on my shoulder. "Hello, hollyleaf. I am death." I gasped. "Don't worry, I won't do anything bad to you." I relaxed. "Why?" I asked. "Because Lightning asked me." I stared at death with confusion. "He knows you?" Death sighed. "Everyone knows me as death, but he's... different. We are close friends."
